Grant graduated from Melbourne University in 1984 and has been at Blackburn Clinic since 1989. His previous experience includes working in various hospitals, lecturing at Monash University Department of Family Medicine, and working as a Medical Educator at the RACGP. Grant is a Principal of the practice, a previous Board member of the Eastern Victoria General Practice Training Program, and examiner for the RACGP. He is married with two adult children.

Scott studied medicine at Monash University, then General Practice, Obstetrics and Anaesthetics to work as a country doctor. He joined Blackburn Clinic in 1994 and never left! Scott is a Principal of the practice. He enjoys variety - from newborns to the ageing - kids, adults and the wide array of problems assisted. He performs Men’s and Women’s Health Checks, Aviation Medicals, Skin Checks and Minor Surgery. Scott’s interests include family, flying, hockey, cycling, travel and adventurous pursuits.

Dr Megan Glenister first joined Blackburn Clinic as a Registrar in 2020 and we welcomed her return in February 2022. Megan loves dogs and brightens our day with her positive attitude. Megan loves all aspects of medicine, especially women’s health. She enjoys caring for the wide range of ages in our Blackburn community.

Dr. Chris Ineson is an experienced GP dedicated to delivering high quality care. With a surgical background in the UK, he specialised in General Practice and relocated to Australia in 2005, seeking new challenges and opportunities. Actively involved in medical education, Dr. Ineson has taught medical students and registrars, and examined for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his commitment to professional development.
Joining Blackburn Clinic in October 2021, he has a special interest in skin cancer checks and treatments, general health checks, chronic disease management, and minor injury care. With the Certificate of Travel Health and membership of the International Society of Travel Medicine, Dr. Ineson also provides comprehensive travel advice and vaccinations, including yellow fever vaccination ensuring the safety of international travellers.
Outside of work, he enjoys kayaking, cycling, and quality time with his family.

Janice had a rich and diverse childhood, growing up on tea plantations in Sri Lanka and Indonesia before migrating to Australia at age eleven. Janice graduated with honours from Monash University and worked in the UK before joining Blackburn Clinic in 1999. Janice’s medical interests include antenatal care, family planning, menopause management, paediatrics and geriatric medicine. She enjoys tennis, walking the dog and involvement at her local church.

Jasdeep migrated to Australia in 2005. She studied at Latrobe University before returning to clinical practice. From 2010-2016 she worked as a GP in Gisborne and Mooroolbark, and is delighted to now be working closer to home. Jasdeep joined the Blackburn Clinic team in March 2016. Her interests include women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, preventative and family medicine. Jasdeep is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.

Dr Adrian Tang graduated at Monash University in 1995 and has been practising medicine in a wide variety of disciplines since. His initial interest was in surgery and he was a Director of Emergency at Werribee Hospital for several years before pursuing his passion in general practice. Adrian first joined Blackburn Clinic in 2002 and is a Principal of the practice. His love for travel has spurred him on to specialise in travel medicine. Adrian’s other interest is music, and he is an accomplished player of the piano and violin. He has been blessed with two fun loving children who, like their dad, are avid supporters of the St.Kilda Football club.

Dr Aaron Zhang was born in China and moved to New Zealand when he was 11 years old. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Otago in New Zealand, and moved to Melbourne. He spent the next few years figuring out his career by working in various hospitals around Victoria, before realising that only general practice would allow him to embrace all aspects of medicine. He is married with three kids. He tries to do some gardening, skiing and travelling whenever he finds the time.

Dr Elliott has four adult children and is a keen golfer when family and work commitments allow the time. He joined the Blackburn team in 1999 and is a Principal of the practice. Dr Elliott has been active on the Medical Boards of Mitcham Private Hospital (Chairman until 2003) and is currently Chairman of Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. He attends Blackburn Clinic patients requiring rehabilitation care at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr Elliott was Managing Partner at Blackburn Clinic for almost ten years, stepping down at the end of 2015. His medical interests include all aspects of family practice, particularly paediatrics, and geriatric medicine.

Yeg worked at Blackburn Clinic as a Registrar from February to August 2016. Yeg proved very popular with patients, and we welcomed her return on a permanent basis in February 2017. Praba’s initial interest in paediatrics led to training at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, before focusing on general practice. He started at Blackburn Clinic in 2005 and is a Principal of the practice. Praba has also been caring for in-patients at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital since 2006. He is married with three children, enjoys playing cricket, and is an avid follower of sports in general.

Alvin is drawn to General Practice because it offers the full circle of healthcare, right from pregnancy, through infancy and childhood, adulthood and the older years. His clinical interests include skin cancer medicine, ear wax micro-suction and ADHD medication management. Outside work he enjoys keeping fit, photography and nature, and has several terrariums / paludariums.
