Dr Dushyanthi Blanchard

Dushy graduated from Melbourne University in 2014 and worked at Blackburn Clinic as a registrar in 2012. She has both a Diploma of Obstetrics and Child Health. Her special interests include women’s health, paediatrics and mental health. Outside of work her other interests include music, long walks and food (both the cooking and the eating parts!).
Dr Andrew Broad

Andrew graduated from the University of Otago in NZ in 1987 and came to Australia in 1989. He was a GP in East Kew for 20 years before joining Blackburn Clinic in September 2016, in a part time capacity. He is married and has two sons and enjoys all aspects of General Practice.
Dr Peter Elliot

Dr Elliott has four children and is a keen golfer when family and work commitments allow the time. He joined the Blackburn team in 1999. Dr Elliott has been active on the Medical Boards of Mitcham Private Hospital (Chairman until 2003) and is currently Chairman of Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. He attends Blackburn Clinic patients requiring rehabilitation care at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr Elliott was Managing Partner at Blackburn Clinic for almost ten years, stepping down at the end of 2015. He remains a Principal of the practice. His medical interests include all aspects of family practice, particularly paediatrics, and geriatric medicine.
Dr Yeganeh Khavar

Yeg worked at Blackburn Clinic as a Registrar from February to August 2016. Yeg proved very popular with patients, and we welcomed her return on a permanent basis in February 2017. Yeg enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially preventative care, women and children’s health, and minor surgical procedures.
Dr Prabaharan Ratnarajah

Praba’s initial interest in paediatrics led to training at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, before focusing on general practice. He started at Blackburn Clinic in 2005 and is a Principal of the practice. Praba has also been caring for in-patients at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital since 2006. He is married with three children, enjoys playing cricket, and is an avid follower of sports in general.
Dr Terence Ting

Dr Terence Ting joined Blackburn Clinic in February 2017, after traversing between hospitals under the Monash Health Group, and working in GP clinics in Pakenham and Eltham. Terence has worked as a physiotherapist in the past, but enjoys the variety that general practice offers.
